Abstract Flexible resources are a critical resource in ensuring the security and steady running of large percentage electricity systems that use new sources energy. The power system’s flexible participate regulation, improving system capability to absorb energy also reliability. This paper calculates dependability index using basic calculation method equivalent function. By flexibly handling generation curve’s adjustable capacity resources, count toward calculation, is calculated. efficacy this approach illustrated by an example.
